This is a unique opportunity with our client based in Farmington, MI.
The firm has been in business for over 40 years, operating as a Owner/Developer, offering General Construction services. They seek an experienced Project Manager due to growth and have an extensive pipeline in the Metro Detroit market.
As a Developer, they focus on multifamily, mixed-use and affordable housing projects. They have a ground up backlog, valued at over $40M, and expect to generate over $50M in revenue by 2027.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with company quality standards and client expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive project estimates, evaluating labor, materials, and time requirements to deliver accurate and competitive bids.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors, facilitating effective communication to align project objectives and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to refine project scopes, verify measurements, and ensure detailed planning for successful execution.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, performance, and scheduling, ensuring timely and quality work that meets project specifications.
- Monitor project progress, implementing quality control and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and manage change orders and project adjustments, maintaining control over costs, schedules, and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field, preferred
- Experience operating for a Developer/CM Firm, preferred
- 3+ years of experience, managing ground up builds, multifamily experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of submittals, RFI’s, and project close out procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
Compensation & Benefit Information
- Salary between $130,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience
- Profit Based Bonus Plan, paid yearly
